Bridget LeCompte
Bridget LeCompte is the Owner and Artistic Director of the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, NH. She has been dancing for over thirty years. She studied dance at Bradford College where she was a member of the Bradford Dance Company performing in numerous events throughout the Boston Area. In order to combine her love for dance with her love for children, Bridget went on to get her degree in Early Childhood Education. Bridget had taught dance for over 7 years at a local studio in Concord, as well as classes in Massachusetts before opening the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, NH. Working with Community Arts is very important. She has choreographed many shows for the Concord City Auditorium fundraisers under the Direction of Irene Deschenes. She also choreographed shows to raise money for the American Red Cross, Concord Public Library and the Rotary Club of Concord. She encourages her dancers to give back to their community as she does, by participating in numerous community service events each year. This is the 8th season for her Creative Dance Workshop Studio where she teaches; Combo Classes, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Ballet.

Dana Dexter
Dana’s dancing career started at the age of 3. His earliest studies, in ballet, tap and jazz, were through his sister, Leeann Dukas, at a studio in Burlington, MA, as well as his mother Donna (Katin) Dexter. As he grew in his dance styles he furthered his education in the forms of tap and jazz. Dana attended The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society’s Dance Teacher Education Course from 1996 to 1998. During this time he studied the forms of Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Ballroom, as well as Music Theory and Production. While attending college in Vermont, Dana studied from and taught for Sue Booth at the A Step Above Dance Studio in Northfield, VT. This was where Dana started to choreograph his own pieces. He was also very active in Musical Theater groups where he choreographed musicals to include “Fiddler on The Roof”, “La Cage Aux Folles”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and other shows. Dana became a member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society in 2005. He currently teaches tap and jazz for his sister at Just Dancin’ in Woburn, MA and is the advanced tap instructor here at Creative Dance Workshop of Bow. Dana also serves as a Full Time Police Officer in the City of Concord, NH.

Chris Irish
Chris joined the CDW team in 2004 and assists with the younger age groups. She has her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Development. She has taught young children and owned and operated an early childhood program over 18 years. She is an instructor of First Aid and CPR for the American Red Cross and has been a Cub Scout Den Leader for the past 5 years. Chris's extensive experience with young children and the love of creative movement makes her role at CDW a perfect match and an enjoyable one.

Julie Levesque
Julie Levesque has been dancing around the Concord NH area for more than 20 years. She is a graduate of UNH, and Franklin Pierce College. She currently teaches kindergarten class in Concord NH and is working towards her master’s degree in elementary education. This is Julies’ second year teaching dance classes at the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow. She teaches all style of dances, but has a strong focus in Hip Hop.

Kim Rowley - Ballet & Lyrical
Kim has been involved in the dance world for over 30 years. Having started dance a little later than most, she soon found herself teaching, choreographing and directing the dance school’s company within 3 years. While attending college for Elementary Education, Kim became a member of Dance Teachers Club of Boston and participated in their student workshop and membership committees. After graduating with a BS in Education, she worked throughout New England, New York and Oklahoma; examining new teachers for DTCB, creating dance class curriculums for studios, supervised movement classes and camps, choreographed for competitive dancers and teams, and directed programs and musicals for schools and companies. Kim continued to take master classes from Southwest Oklahoma Dance Alliance, Lawton City Ballet, Gold Studios, Tremaine, and DTCB with noted teachers such as Gus Giordano, Gregg Russell, Mia Michaels, Finis Jhung, Sam Fiorello, and Patsy Swayze. As a dance educator, through motivation direction and encouragement, Kim challenges her students to reach for their maximum level of proficiency in technique and performance while reinforcing each dancer’s natural passion, creativity, and joy of dance.

Tiffany Harrington
Tiffany Harrington, has been dancing for many years and specializes in Hip Hop classes. Tiffany also teaches an Adult Hip Hop Fitness Class. For more information about the adult class just stop by and pick up one of her registration forms. She is a wonderful asset to our school.

Becca Cleary
Becca Cleary owns and directs Balanced Fitness, which focuses on maintaining balanced lifestyles as a part of fitness. She is a Resist-A-Ball® Master Instructor, a Continuing Education provider for ACE and AFAA and an Independent Reiki Master. Her certifications include ACE, AFAA, Heart Zones, Healthy Moms® and Yogafit®. Becca's prior training and experience in secondary education enhances her ability to present multilevel classes.

Ashlee Rowley
Ashlee Rowley is a senior at New England College in Henniker, NH majoring in Business Management. She is interning with CDW for the 2009 – 2010 dance season. You might see her in the classroom teaching classes, you might see her in the office working side by side with Lori, and you will definitely see her at all CDW’s performances and competitions! She has been teaching dance for over 5 years, including summer camps and workshops. She has danced since she was 2 years old many of those years spent on a competition team. She recently joined the prestigious Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston and she continues her dance education by attending regional and national workshops, trainings and competitions. Ashlee is excited to work with the CDW students helping them expand their dance knowledge and technique and improve their performance.

Lori Emerson- Office Administrator
Lori Emerson has lived in the Concord area for the past 28 years. Her background’s in Accounting from NHTI. She has been with CDW for over four years. Lori works full time for a local Municipal government, along with working part-time at the Creative Dance Workshop.
